Purchasing A Grave Space
The loss of a loved one is one of the greatest challenges a person/family will experience. For family members dealing with the loss of a loved one, the days and weeks following the death can be a stressful and busy time. We at Peace Lutheran Cemetery would like to assist you in making that journey less stressful. Let us help you give the gift of pre-need preparation by helping you find and purchase a grave space that fits your needs. Whether it’s a single space or a family burial plot, we’re here to help you. Purchasing a grave space can be done far ahead of time or at the time of an impending funeral. Usually, a funeral home can help arrange the purchase of a burial space. But when you plan ahead, time is on your side - and so is peace of mind. Your foresight will be appreciated by those you leave behind, sparing them the burden of having to make one more serious decision at a difficult time. Pre-purchasing a grave space assures that loved ones know your final wishes and can carry them out as you planned. Consider purchasing a burial space now so that you can be at peace and they can too. Grave spaces are available for purchase in almost every section of the cemetery. All spaces are priced the same and the cost is listed to the right. Available grave spaces can be viewed and/or purchased by contacting the Cemetery Sexton, Bob Reinke, at 920-379-8506. A Grave Deed will be issued to the registered owner of a particular grave space. The grave deed must be produced for all subsequent interments in the space. Ownership of burial spaces may be transferred to family members upon notification in writing to the Peace Lutheran Cemetery Sexton. Grave space owners should include their cemetery space when making their wills. |
Price List
Effective March 1, 2023 All grave sites are sold with perpetual care. The purchase price may be paid in interest-free installments provided that the purchaser enters into a written agreement with Peace Lutheran Cemetery, and it is agreed that the number of installments shall not exceed a period of one year. Burial can not take place until a grave space is paid for in full.
Note: The cemetery does not buy lots back. |

Peace Lutheran Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund
To ensure the final resting place of your loved one is taken care of forever, all grave sites are sold with perpetual care. A portion of each grave space sale is allocated to this fund, which is kept in its own account. Only the interest, not the principal, of the Perpetual Care Fund is used for the care and maintenance of the cemetery grounds. The cost of keeping the cemetery well-groomed is an ongoing expense. One goal of the Peace Lutheran Cemetery Board is to continually grow the perpetual care fund. Your donation would help with this goal. It would be deposited into the Perpetual Care Fund where the interest would assist with the care of cemetery grounds and other expenses incurred annually. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. Peace Lutheran Church has 501 (C) (13) tax exempt status. If you would like to donate to the Peace Lutheran Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund, please make your check payable to "Peace Lutheran Church" with "Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund" on the memo line.
